Hi, we are Mariana and Ana, a daughter and mother who started Bo out of a shared love of good food and great protein products. As regular consumers ourselves, we felt the protein industry had long focused on men’s wants and needs, leaving little room for what women might want from these products. We wanted to create something we would be excited to reach for: protein products that taste delicious, designed with women in mind.
When it comes to women’s bodies, one-size-fits-all rarely makes sense. As women ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way! We spent months researching, formulating and taste-testing to create products with women in mind, and that actually taste good… just as good, if not better, than the protein products traditionally made for men.
We don’t whisper about periods or tiptoe around hormones. Women’s health isn’t a niche subject…we are half the population, and we deserve to be treated that way.
We explain why every ingredient is there and how it supports women’s bodies.
Life is too short for chalky and tasteless protein. We make self-care genuinely delicious and easy to enjoy every day.
